There was no user disruption to either side.

The Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service have historically been separate organisations. In order to gain operational and budgetary benefits, a decision was made to merge the two organisations.

As a trusted partner, Silversands was asked to help with the migration of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Teams from the IoW systems into the Hampshire environment.  This involved working with the Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service, the Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service and the Isle of Wight Council.

Starting just before the first Covid lockdown, the project team had to quickly adjust their approach to accommodate the various restrictions and constraints.
