Kingston University - MOSS 2007 Silversands provides Kingston University with innovative blogs and shared research sites as part of Microsoft rapid development progamme for the 2007 Microsoft Office System
Kingston university wanted to widen awareness of ite reputation as a centre for postgraduate study by making it easier for academics to create their own websites, or blogs - where they could also post news about their work to an external audience. It also wanted to give research groups the freedom to set up secure research sites where they could collaborate.
To assist with these challenges, Kingston University took advantage of the Microsoft Rapid Development Programme (RDP) for the new Office Platform, and used the skills of Silversands consultants to deliver a solution which addressed their needs.
