Silversands redevelops L&Q's Intranet as part of a new enterprise-wide initiative to develop a collaborative culture across the business
L&Q’s mission is to create places where people want to live. Currently one of the UK’s foremost developers of new homes, L&Q is a leading housing association with over 48 years’ experience.
In 2010 L&Q found that their existing Intranet platform, Microsoft SharePoint 2003 was no longer meeting their requirements. L&Q have worked hard to develop a collaborative culture developed around their ‘best in service’ values, undergoing a rebrand in 2009 and investing heavily in management training to support that goal. Upgrading the functionality and delivery of the intranet was L&Q’s next step to develop that goal internally across 1100 staff in 20 different locations.
Silversands was selected to implement a redeveloped solution for L&Q's existing SharePoint 2003-based Intranet.
